Your apps (APK)

Your APKs never leave your computer: they go straight from your browser to the phone, over the cable. onsecret does not receive them and does not keep them; we only record the package name, its version and its fingerprint, for your install history. We check their format, not what they do. They are not updated by onsecret, unless one is exactly an app from our catalog, from the same developer. If the page is reloaded, you will need to pick them again.

Your brand

The chosen name and logo show only on the install website, for this install, and on your account if you save them. On the phone the system stays SourdineOS: the version number in Settings, the verified boot screen, and the notice “based on GrapheneOS, not affiliated with the GrapheneOS project”. You declare that you hold the rights to this name and logo. Some third-party brand names are refused.

First install on this phone?

  1. Update the stock system (Settings, System, Update).
  2. Turn on “OEM unlocking”: About phone, tap “Build number” 7 times, then System, Developer options. Greyed out? Connect the phone to the Internet once.
  3. Plug it straight into the computer (no hub), with a data cable.

What the install involves

By clicking Install you accept the terms and these consequences: all data on the phone is erased; a hardware fault can leave the phone unusable; a yellow warning shows at each boot (non-Google system, expected); apps that require Google certification may refuse to run. Read the terms
