After the purchase
Warranty & returns
You are buying from a professional: your statutory rights apply in full and cannot be reduced by a clause. Here is what is covered, what is not, and how a return works when the device is encrypted.
The warranty
Legal conformity guarantee
Every device is covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity under EU consumer law. It applies if the product does not match its description or is defective on delivery — at no cost to you.
Hidden-defects guarantee
The statutory guarantee against hidden defects applies in addition, for non-apparent defects that make the device unfit for use.
Commercial warranty
Depending on the product, a commercial warranty is added (duration shown on the product page: new and refurbished devices differ). It adds to the statutory guarantees; it does not replace them.
The right of withdrawal
14 days, no reason needed
For a distance purchase, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, with no justification. The refund includes standard delivery costs.
How to exercise it
Simply tell us within the window (an encrypted support thread is enough), then return the device. See the dedicated page for the exact procedure.
What can reduce or void the commercial warranty
- Unlocking the bootloader yourself after delivery (it disables the verified boot we re-locked).
- Physical or liquid damage, normal wear, or third-party repair.
- Reminder: these exclusions concern the commercial warranty — they cannot set aside your statutory guarantees.
Returning an encrypted device
Our devices are encrypted and under your sole control: we cannot inspect what we cannot unlock, and we will never ask for your credentials. So the process is simple: you contact us, we agree on the return, and you wipe the device before shipping it (we tell you how). We check the hardware condition, not your data — which we never had anyway.
